The NeOn Toolkit Reaches 5000 Downloads!

    From NeOn Project

    NeOn Toolkit
In September 2009, our NeOn Toolkit surpassed 5000 downloads since its first release at the International Semantic Web Conference in 2007.

The NeOn Toolkit provides an ontology engineering environment implemented as an open and modular architecture on top of the Eclipse plug-in. Thanks to this architecture, third party developers can easily build specialised plug-ins to extend the core functionalities of the toolkit. 45 plug-ins are already available covering various ontology engineering lifecycle tasks including ontology modularisation, evolution, repair, reuse, alignment, visualisation, versioning and several others.

The latest version of the toolkit can be downloaded from the NeOn Toolkit website and plug-ins can be easily installed using the update functionality available within the toolkit.

A major new release will be out soon. Stay tuned!
